Overnight stay in peace and quiet
Often you visit us after a long journey to spend the night in peace and quiet before moving on. Or because the family wants to have a nice stay in the middle of nature even though you are almost in the center of our small cozy town.
Our summer café serves a daily lunch buffet with homemade Swedish home cooking. You can also get hamburgers, sandwiches and coffee. All at very reasonable prices and all home-made and home-baked. Our motto is that no food should go to waste, so when we close the café for the day, all leftover food is sold at a 50% discount. Sometimes there are no leftovers and sometimes a little more.
Who visits us?
We have many bus groups that stay overnight with us. Either in our cabins or in their own tents. We arrange a very affordable, Swedish inspired welcome buffet for those who so wish. It has proved to be very popular and is ordered in connection with the booking.
Furthermore we have many sports groups as our guests because we are directly next door to Ljungby Athletics Arena, Ljungby Icehockey Arena, Ljungby Multisportshall, Sunnerbohallen and Kronoskogen outdoor activities and nice walking paths and running tracks. Also worth mentioning is the Ljungby BeachVolley Ball Arena that meets with SM standard.
Other activities
Our minigolf course has 18 tricky holes.
Lake Bolmen is only 15 minutes drive away if you want to go canoeing or fishing.Or if you want to see a moose out in the wild on the journey there or back.
Along the river Lagan, which flows through downtown there are nice walking paths with sofas to relax on and also informations boards about Ljungby and the history of the Vikings. In the city center you will also find museums and several different type of shops. Many guests stay with us and prepare their own food. Others eat buffetbreakfast with us. Still others have half- or full board with us during the stay.
